COSCO SHIPPING has announced the launch of two new dedicated trains, “Nanchang-Qinzhou-Vietnam” and “Guiyang-Qinzhou”.
In this way, the Chinese company implements the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP) and adheres to the idea of customer-centric service to align with the RCEP and facilitate the development of the new western land-to-sea trade corridor.
COSCO said it aims to create seamless industrial chains and supply chains, to help small and medium-sized enterprises reduce costs, increase efficiency, and enhance market competitiveness.
The “Nanchang-Qinzhou-Vietnam” train, launched jointly by COSCO SHIPPING and JMC and fully loaded with auto parts, departed from Nanchang International Land Port on 13 June and arrived at Qinzhou Port three days later. From Qinzhou, the cargo would be transported to Haiphong Port in Vietnam within two days by sea.
